HoHoHo Sewalong Entries & Winner

So yesterday was the last day of the HoHoHo Sewalong. Thank you so much if you joined in!! It was great fun to see all the different fabrics being used. I’ve added some pictures of some below. As you can see there is a selection of cushions, table runners and centre pieces. Some of these were shared on Facebook and some on Instagram!

And the moment you’ve all been waiting for....drum roll please.... the winner of the fat quarter bundle is Pat Matthews.

I hope you had fun if you joined in.. And that you now have a finished or almost finished Christmas make to proudly display this Christmas! Well done all.

If you liked sewing along with the group, then you might like to find out about my next sewalong which is happening in January. Find out about it here. And remember to sign up to the accompanying newsletter to get all the relevant information.

Ho Ho Ho Sewalong Has Started!

So today is day 1 of the #hohohosal. I would love for you to join in with us! Sign up to the HoHoHo sewalong newsletter to get the prompts!

The idea is to make up either a HoHoHo Cushion, or for the more adventurous, a table runner!

It’s a fairly relaxed sewalong running from today, 30th Nov to 10th December. Purposefully over two weekends so hopefully you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get it made. The cushion is actually a pretty quick make!

To join in make sure you’ve got your copy of the PATTERN. Post a picture of your Ho Ho Ho cushion or table runner on your feed. Feel free to post fabric pulls and progress pictures as well the finished item. Make sure you’ve posted a picture of the finished item by 10th December to go into the draw for the Christmas themed prize. Make sure to tag me and use the Hashtag #hohohosal so I can find the post. This is mainly running in Instagram but if you’re not on Instagram you can join in on Facebook. Just make sure your profile is set to public so I can find your post easily.

I have put together a little prize for one lucky poster. Happy to send internationally.

I’ll be posting throughout the time to encourage you along!

If you are joining in please use text like this so everyone else who sees your post can come and find out what it’s all about easily “I’m joining in with the #hohohosal hosted by @thecraftynomadfleet “

🎅🏼 NEED HELP? If you haven’t tried raw edge appliqué before and need extra guidance then have a look at my free tutorial about it.

I can not wait to see lots of Ho Ho Ho items popping up in my feed!!

I’m hoping to make a couple of projects using the pattern. The first up will be using this selection of slightly more traditional fabrics.

Then if I’ve time I’d like to make a little something with this modern alternative Christmas bundle from The Fabric Fox!

Can’t wait to see what fabrics you choose!

Fancy a Ho Ho Ho Cushion Sewalong?

This sewalong has finished now. But do check my social media feeds or recent blog posts about other sewalongs I might be hosting!

I’ve been mulling over on social media whether to run a fun, short Sewalong for the Ho Ho Ho Cushion to help encourage you all to get it made before the big day! Quite a few were keen so here you go!

We’ll start on Friday 30th November and aim to be finished by the 10th December. That gives you two full weekends. Making this totally achievable! Plus it will be finished in plenty of time to look great with all your other holiday decorations!

Sign up to the Ho Ho Ho Cushion Sewalong email newsletter to get the prompts.

To join in you’ll need to get the Pattern which you can purchase HERE. It’s available as a PDF or as a Paper version.

Post a picture of your finished cushion to Instagram or Facebook before the 10th December 2018, using the hash tag #HoHoHosal, and you’ll go into a draw for a prize! (If you are doing this on Facebook, you will need to set the post to public so that I can see it though! And on Instagram if your profile is set to Private then I won’t be able to see it!)

Come find me on social media: Facebook; & Instagram.
