'Break out the Bunting', is inspired by outdoor garden parties with bunting fluttering in the warm breeze.  The pattern plays with the humble corner block and shows how to use two different sizes of corner that cleverly fit together when rotated to create lines of triangles that look like bunting.  The design is a fabulous scrap buster, helping you to use up all the little pieces you can’t bear to throw away - I think I must have used every single bright fabric I have in my stash.

It's a bumper pattern packed full of value!  There are two sizes of quilt pattern and a cushion size to make matching or stand alone.  The pattern includes a colouring in sheet for you to test your ideas on.  And in addition to all that, when I was designing this quilt I had lots of layout ideas.  After much deliberation I decided to go with my first design as the main pattern.  But I thought it would be fun to add all those other ideas into the booklet for you so you can choose if you want to go with a different layout for your make.  In fact two of my pattern testers have done exactly that, which you can see pictured here..

There are two size options for this design included in the pattern: Cushion 18 x 18 inches; Baby - 40 x 40 inches; and Large Throw - 60 x 60 inches.

The pattern includes:

  • Full materials requirements

  • Colouring Page

  • Full colour instructions

  • Cutting Instructions

  • Piecing instructions

  • Alternative Layout Ideas

IMPORTANT: This pattern assumes the reader has the knowledge to baste, quilt and bind the quilt.  However for those of you new to quilting I have added some tutorials on this on my website in the Tutorial Section.

Make sure to read the whole pattern all the way through before beginning your project.
